Introduction

PS-7162I-v2 is a Gigabit Ethernet Switch with 16 10/100M Power over Ethernet (Poe) Ports plus 2 Combo Gigabit Copper/SFP Ports that is designed for medium or large network environment for strengthening network connections. Comes with rack-mount brackets, PS-7162I’s 19-inch size will fit into your rack frame perfectly. PS-7162I is a superb choice for boosting your network and providing better performances and efficiencies.

IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) Ports

Featuring IEEE 802.3at Power over Ether (PoE) standard, PS-7162I can supply power up to 250 Watts. It can also convert standard 100~240 Volts of AC power into low-voltage DC power that runs over existing LAN cable to power IEEE 802.3at compliant network devices. Also, PS-7162I features PoE-awareness for verifying if the receiving end of any network device is IEEE 802.4at compliant. If not, only data packets will be sent to that given network device through LAN cable. With PS-7162I installed to your existing network environment, adding new network devices such as Access Points and IP Cameras will be easy and manageable, which means these devices can be easily deployed and the network administrators do not have to use heavy AC power adapters for power supply anymore.

2 Combo Gigabit Copper / 2 SFP Open Slots

PS-7162I-v2 supports 2 Combo Gigabit Copper or 2 SFP open slots to uplink to servers, storage, or other switching devices for long loop reach applications

Auto-MDI/MDI-X

All PS-7162I’s ports can automatically detect the type of cables that connect to it, relieving the need of crossover cables whether connecting PS-7162I to another switch or to a computer.

Auto-Negotiation

Each of PS-7162I’s ports can automatically detect if the connected network devices are running at 10Mbps, 100Mbps, or 1000Mbps in Half/Full-Duplex mode, and adjust accordingly.

Non-Blocking

PS-7162I-v2 receives and forwards traffic seamlessly with its non-blocking wire-speed. Every port simultaneously supports up to 200 or 2000Mbps of bandwidth in full-duplex mode. This feature provides full wire speed to the connected devices and allows your network to run smoothly.
